Letter from the Church Council
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ.
Grace and Peace in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
As we step into the year of our Lord 2025, we are filled with gratitude and hope, reminded of the mission that Christ Himself entrusted to us in Matthew 28:19-20: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” This divine commission is not just a task for a select few but a call to all believers to live out their faith by sharing the Gospel and demonstrating God’s love in every corner of the world.
The new year brings with it countless opportunities to serve in God’s Kingdom. As members of the Arusha Community Church, we are called to actively engage in the work of the Lord. Whether it be through prayer, teaching, acts of service, or reaching out to those in need, there is a role for everyone. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 9:37-38 that “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” Let us rise to the challenge, united in our purpose and filled with the love of Christ, to bring hope and light to those around us.
As we embark on this journey together, let us not forget the words of 1 John 4:7-8: “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.” Our unity as a church family is rooted in this divine love. It is through this love that we can support, encourage, and uplift one another in faith and in action.
The early church offers us a powerful example of unity and dedication. Acts 2:42 says, “And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” As a community, let us strive to emulate this spirit of fellowship by prioritizing time for worship, teaching, prayer, and mutual encouragement. These are not merely traditions but vital practices that strengthen our faith and deepen our relationship with Christ and with one another.
As we serve the Lord in 2025, let our actions reflect love, humility, and dedication. In every ministry, in every interaction, and in every decision, let us strive to be shining examples of Christ’s grace. Jesus said in John 13:35, “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” Let our love and service be a testimony to the world of the transformative power of the Gospel.
We are deeply grateful for each of you and the unique gifts God has entrusted to you. Together, as faithful stewards of these gifts, we have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact for His Kingdom. Let us embrace the challenges and opportunities of this year with faith and courage, trusting in God’s guidance and provision.
May the Lord bless you abundantly and equip you for every good work as we labor together for His glory in this year 2025.
In Christ’s Service,
Isaka Joseph Mang’ola ~ Church Council Elder
