Unlocking the Power of Service: Join Us for a September of Celebration and Impact!

Dear Members of Arusha Community Church, As September unfolds, we are thrilled to engage in a series of meaningful events, including our Volunteering Appreciation Sunday, Harvest Festival Music Evening, Harvest Festival Sunday, and Games Night. This month serves as a special time for us to celebrate and deeply appreciate the spirit of volunteering that sustains our church community. Volunteering is the heart of our church’s mission, and your contributions are crucial in bringing our collective vision to life. Every hour you invest and every effort you make helps to strengthen our community, nurture our ministries, and extend our outreach. Your dedication goes beyond mere tasks; it is a profound expression of faith and commitment that builds a vibrant, supportive environment where we all can grow spiritually and support one another.

Your active participation—from assisting with Worship services (WoCo), Evangelism and Outreach, Finance, Project and Benevolence, Christian Education, to extending hospitality—greatly enriches our church’s mission. It is your contributions that help us maintain a dynamic and supportive community, allowing us to extend Christ’s love and compassion to those around us. By working together, we build a strong foundation that supports not only our church but also the wider community. Volunteering is more than just fulfilling a task; it’s a profound expression of our faith and a way to live out the values we hold dear. It allows us to build meaningful connections, deepen our fellowship, and make a positive impact within our church and beyond. Each act of service, no matter how small, contributes significantly to our mission of reflecting Christ’s love and compassion.

We encourage you to reflect on how you can further engage in our church’s ministries and activities. Your unique gifts and talents are invaluable, and there is always a place for you to serve. Your involvement not only enriches our community but also provides opportunities for personal spiritual growth and fulfillment.

Additionally, we are excited to share that the congregation will have a chance to meet the two missionaries we have begun to financially support since February. They have been invited to give short testimonies on Volunteer Appreciation Sunday. Petro and Lucy serve among the unreached Alagwa people of Singida, and Matthew works among the Waswahili of Kilwa. Matthew is also arranging for us to meet his fiancée!

As it is written in Galatians 5:13, “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” Let us embrace these opportunities with enthusiasm and a spirit of service. Thank you for your unwavering dedication and the many ways you contribute to the life of Arusha Community Church.
